Choosing The Right Real Estate Broker in Dubai

Hello again. For those of you that now follow my blog you wold be aware that my last post was a short guide to the different communities of Dubai. Knowing just how many things there are to consider when moving to Dubai I do hope that people will find it useful in some small way at least.

In this post I'm going to touch on real estate brokers and how to go about finding one that will not only be professional and ethical but will also get you the very best deal possible. Now most of you who are brand new to Dubai will likely wonder what the point of this is and I don't blame you. Unfortunately however Dubai real estate agents don't exactly have the best reputation and for a reason. Having said that there is definitely some good ones out there so lets have a look at some of the ways you can make sure you are dealing with one of those.

Once you have decided on an area which you want to live in you will most likely got one of the two main property portals in Property Finder or Dubizzle. There you will find loads of ads for different property types available which will be advertised by different agencies and agents. This right here will be your first clue. In order to advertise on these portals the companies need to be registered with RERA so right from the start you know that you are dealing with a licensed brokerages. The second thing you should look for is the number of ads and their quality. A broker with a large number of ads, assuming they are true and correct will be able to give you a larger range of options to choose from. He or she is also likely to be a specialist in the community meaning they should be able to provide you with loads of additional information. Another thing to look for is the quality of the listings. Are the photos real and of good quality and do they match the description? An agent who doesn't take care of their listings is unlikely to be much different when it comes to their clients.

Once you have found an agent with that meets the above criteria your next step is to simply give them a call and find out more about what they can offer. A knowledgable agent who is interested in you as a client should have no problems demonstrating why he or she is worthy of your business.

Happy house hunting!
